Smooth Nickel and Flock Matt White

The shade is hand finished in the Flock matt white coating on the outside, giving it a soft, chalky texture that sits well against painted walls and panelling. Inside, the cone is lined in smooth nickel, polished to a mirror finish that reflects light back down and out. The ceiling rose, pendant post and fittings carry the same nickel finish, and the flex is a black fabric covered cable, so the metal detailing stands out against the dark cord.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil started in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later on, made at the same Welsh workshop, and the Hockley pendant carries that same hand finished approach through its nickel and Flock white detailing.

• What size bulb does the Hockley pendant take? It takes an E27 LED bulb rated at 6W maximum. The bulb itself is not included.
• Can I dim this light? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb. It will not dim with a standard, non dimmable LED.

• Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Every Hockley pendant is handmade to order in Wales, which means it cannot be returned once you have placed the order.
