The outer shade is finished in Dusk, a muted dark blue grey with a smooth, matte surface. Inside, the shade is lined in polished smooth nickel, which reflects light back down and gives the pendant a bright, clean glow once it is switched on. The ceiling rose and lamp holder are finished to match in smooth nickel, carrying that same tone through the whole fitting.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and this Hockley pendant carries that same hands on approach into its Dusk and nickel finish.
