The Hockley pendant takes the classic factory cone shade and gives it real personality. This version pairs a smooth nickel interior with a Dingle green exterior, so the shape stays clean and architectural while the colour adds warmth and depth. Once switched on, the polished nickel throws light down in a wide, even pool.

The shade is hand formed from solid brass, then finished with a deep Dingle green exterior and a bright, reflective nickel lining. The contrast between the matte green outside and the polished metal inside gives the pendant a sculptural quality, whether it is switched on or off.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Hockley's brass shade and its hand applied Dingle green finish are made using those same traditional methods, brought together with modern engineering to create a contemporary ceiling light.
