A Rounded Dome With a Polished Nickel Glow
The Harborne pendant is a single dome shade spun from solid brass, with a deep, rounded profile that steps up from a wide open mouth to a stacked brass gallery at the top. It has the look of a classic factory light, but the polished lining inside gives it a brighter, more reflective glow than a plain metal shade.
Finished in Heath, an Earthy Green
The outside of the shade is hand painted in Heath, a muted, earthy green with a matte surface. Inside, the dome keeps its smooth nickel plating, polished to a mirror finish that throws light back out from the shade rather than absorbing it. The contrast between the soft green exterior and the bright nickel interior is part of what makes this finish distinctive.
How It Works
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
- Comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable, so the drop height can be adjusted to suit the room.

Where It Works Best

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop. This Harborne pendant's painted Heath exterior and polished nickel interior are both finished there by hand, dome by dome, rather than produced as a single mass applied colour.

Is the Harborne pendant in Heath green dimmable?
Yes, as long as it's fitted with a dimmable LED bulb. A non dimmable bulb won't allow the light to be dimmed even with a compatible dimmer switch.
Does it come with a bulb?
No, bulbs are sold separately. The fitting takes one LED bulb with an E27 base, rated at 6W maximum.
Can I adjust the drop height of this pendant?
Yes. It's supplied with 1.5m of black fabric cable, which a qualified electrician can trim and rewire to set the exact height needed.

Each one is made to order at From The Anvil's Welsh workshop rather than held as ready made stock, so orders can't be returned once placed.
