A Dome Shaped Pendant With A Striking Finish

The Harborne pendant takes the classic factory dome shape and gives it a bold splash of colour. This version pairs a deep, rich green exterior called Dingle with a mirror polished nickel interior, so the outside reads as a solid block of colour while the inside throws light back out in a bright, reflective glow.

The dome is spun from solid brass, then coated in a smooth, matte Dingle green on the outside. Turn it over and the inside is left in polished nickel, bright enough to bounce light around the room rather than absorb it. The gallery, cable grip and fixings above the shade are finished in a dark, aged tone that sits quietly against the green rather than competing with it.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and the Harborne's spun brass dome carries that same hands on craft into a bright, contemporary green.
