The Harborne pendant brings a softened, painterly finish to a familiar workshop shape. This version pairs a pale grey Birch exterior with a polished nickel interior, so the shade reads as understated from below and catches the light with a bright, reflective glow from within.

The shade is spun from solid brass, then coated in a matte Birch grey on the outside and lined in smooth nickel on the inside. The contrast is quiet rather than showy, a chalky, muted grey shell with a mirror bright interior that throws light back down into the room. It sits well against white panelling, pale walls, or alongside warmer wood tones in a kitchen.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and this Harborne pendant carries that same brass forming and hand finishing into its Birch grey and nickel dome.
