A Dome Pendant With a Mirror Bright Finish
The Harborne pendant has a classic rounded dome shape that works equally well in a period cottage or a sleek modern kitchen. This version is finished in smooth nickel, giving it a bright, reflective surface rather than the textured hammered look of other Harborne finishes.
Smooth Nickel Finish
The shade is spun from solid brass and then plated in nickel, polished to a smooth, mirror like surface with no hammered texture. Light bounces cleanly across the curve of the dome, and the plating is durable enough for everyday use above a table or work surface.
How It Works
- A single pendant light, supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
- 1.5m of black fabric cable is provided as standard.
- Takes a 6W maximum LED bulb (E27 fitting), bulb purchased separately.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
Where It Works Best
This pendant suits living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms and hallways. Hang a single Harborne pendant centrally over a dining table, or space two or three together above a kitchen island for a bolder look. It also works well as a statement drop in an entrance hallway.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering.
The smooth nickel plating on this Harborne pendant is applied at that same Welsh workshop, so the mirror like finish on your shade is a direct result of the hot forging and plating processes the brand has used since it began.
