A Sleek Silhouette In Nickel And Blue
The Frankley pendant has a wide, curved shade that narrows to a slim neck, a confident shape that works just as well on its own or grouped in a row. This version pairs that shape with something less expected: a matte blue exterior called Upstream, with a polished nickel and chrome lining inside the shade.
The Upstream Finish
Upstream is a flat, matte blue that covers the outside of the shade and the matching ceiling rose, giving the fitting a calm, contemporary look rather than a shiny one. Inside, the shade is left in polished nickel and chrome, so once a bulb is fitted the light bounces around that bright interior and spreads out warm and even rather than sitting flat.
How It Works
- Single pendant light, holding one bulb.
- Takes one E27 LED bulb, 6W maximum. LED only, bulb not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
- Comes with 1m of black fabric cable as standard.
- Lamp measures 412mm in diameter and 240mm in height. Ceiling rose measures 106mm in diameter and 20mm deep.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. This Upstream blue Frankley, with its nickel and chrome lined shade, is finished by hand at that same workshop before it ever reaches a ceiling.
