A Softer Take on an Industrial Shape
The Frankley pendant takes the classic factory light silhouette, a wide swept shade on a tapered neck, and softens it. Hang it low over a kitchen island or dining table and it reads as considered, not utilitarian, thanks to its pale, chalky finish.
Finished in Teasel
This Frankley is finished in Teasel, a soft, parchment toned off white with a warm, slightly creamy undertone rather than a stark white. The outside of the shade has a smooth, matte painted finish, while the inside is left in a bright, polished nickel that bounces the light back down and out in a warm, even wash.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting, including pendants like the Frankley, is made at the same Welsh workshop using that same hands on approach.

- Does the Frankley pendant come with a bulb? No. It takes one E27 LED bulb up to 6W, which is sold separately.
- Can I dim the Frankley pendant? Yes, as long as it is fitted with a dimmable LED bulb. It will not dim with a standard, non dimmable LED.
- Can I return the Frankley pendant if I change my mind? No. It is handmade to order at From The Anvil's workshop in Wales, so it cannot be returned once the order is placed.
