A Bold Shape With a Softer Edge
The Frankley pendant has a wide, flared shade that curves down from a slender neck, giving it a striking, sculptural silhouette. Hang it on its own over a table or run several in a row along a kitchen island, and the shape does the work without needing anything else in the room to compete with it.
Smooth Nickel and Soot
This Frankley comes finished in a smooth nickel plate with a Soot dark grey exterior, a combination that gives the shade a cool, contemporary look rather than the warmer glow of the brass and copper versions in the range. Inside, the shade is left in polished nickel, so when the bulb is lit the light bounces back in a bright, silvery wash rather than being softened by the outer colour. The neck fitting and ceiling rose are finished in a dark bronze tone that ties the whole fitting together.

Where It Works Best
Its scale and shape make it well suited to kitchens, especially hung above an island or breakfast bar, as well as dining rooms, living rooms, hallways and bedrooms where a single strong pendant can anchor the space. Group two or three along a run for a dining table or island, or use it alone as a focal point in a hallway or reading corner.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Lighting became part of the range later, still hand forged and hot forged from steel, brass and copper at the same Welsh workshop using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. The Frankley pendant carries that same workshop craft through to a piece designed for a contemporary kitchen or dining space.

Yes, it is dimmable as long as it is fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
What bulb does it take?
It takes an LED only bulb, 6W maximum, with an E27 fitting. The bulb is not included and needs to be bought separately.

The shade measures 412mm in diameter and 240mm in height, with a ceiling rose that measures 106mm in diameter and 20mm deep.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
No. Every Frankley pendant is handmade to order in Wales, so it cannot be returned once it has been ordered.
