A Bold Shape in Black and Nickel
The Frankley pendant has a sleek, sweeping silhouette that curves out into a wide dome. Hung on its own it makes a strong single statement. Hang two or three in a row and the effect becomes even bolder, especially in a darker scheme.
Smooth Nickel, Dressed in Elan Black
This version starts life as spun brass, plated in a smooth nickel finish, then dressed in a deep, matt Elan Black on the outside. The nickel is left exposed inside the shade, so when the light is on it throws soft, reflected light back down into the room. The contrast between the flat black exterior and the bright nickel interior is what gives this pendant its bold, modern look.

Where It Works Best

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. The Frankley pendant carries that same workshop approach into a contemporary shape, spun and finished by hand at the same Welsh workshop.

- Can the Frankley pendant be dimmed? Yes. It is dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- What bulb does it take? A 6W maximum LED E27 bulb, which is not included and needs to be bought separately.
- How big is the shade? The shade measures 412mm in diameter and 240mm in height, with a ceiling rose measuring 106mm in diameter.
- Is this pendant made to order? Yes. Every From The Anvil light fitting is handmade to order in Wales, which is why it cannot be returned once ordered.
