A Sleek, Reflective Update on a Classic Shape
The Frankley pendant is built on a simple, elegant profile, a tapered cone that flares out into a wide, shallow shade. In this version it is finished in smooth nickel rather than From The Anvil's usual hammered texture, so the surface catches and bounces light instead of scattering it. Hang it on its own over a table, or in a row along a kitchen island for a run of matching pendants.
The Smooth Nickel Finish
This pendant is spun from solid brass and plated in a bright, mirror finish nickel. The surface is completely smooth, with no hammer marks or texture, so it reflects the room around it and throws a cool, silvery tone rather than the warmer glow of brass or copper. It pairs well with black, chrome or nickel fittings elsewhere in the room.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting, including this Frankley pendant, is made at that same Welsh workshop, carrying on the hand forging tradition the brand began with in 1996.
