A Softer Shape for a Wall Light
The Flora wall light takes the range's soft, petal shaped curve and turns it into a single arm fitting for the wall. The shade flares out and ripples at the edge rather than sitting in a strict cone, so the light spreads sideways and downward instead of firing in one hard beam.
Smooth Nickel and a Soot Finish
This version finishes the shade in Soot, a dark charcoal grey, on the outside, while the inside stays in a polished smooth nickel that throws the light back out in a bright, reflective glow. The arm and wall rose continue in matching dark grey with polished nickel knuckle joints, so the fitting reads as one considered piece rather than mismatched parts.

- Takes one 6W max LED E14 bulb, not supplied
- Dimmable when fitted with dimmable bulbs
- Adjustable knuckle joint on the arm lets you angle the shade up, down or to the side once it's fitted
- Shade measures 217mm in diameter and 63mm high, with a 224mm projection from the wall
- Wall rose measures 105mm in diameter and 20mm deep
Where It Works Best
The adjustable arm makes this a good choice either side of a bed for reading light, and it works well in pairs flanking a hallway, a fireplace or a piece of art. It also suits a kitchen, dining room or living room wherever a soft, directional glow is more useful than a single overhead light, and pairs naturally with the matching Flora pendant for a coordinated scheme.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and this Flora wall light's nickel and Soot shade is finished by hand there in the same way.

What bulb does the Flora wall light take?
It takes one E14 bulb, maximum 6W LED, which is not included.
Can this light be dimmed?
Yes, as long as it's fitted with a dimmable bulb. It won't dim with a standard, non dimmable bulb even on a compatible dimmer switch.
Can I adjust the angle of the shade once it's fitted?
Yes, the arm has an adjustable knuckle joint, so the shade can be angled up, down or to the side after it's fixed to the wall.
Is there a matching pendant in this finish?
Yes, the Flora pendant is also available in smooth nickel, so it can be used together with this wall light for a coordinated scheme.
