The Flora wall light takes its shape from a single sweeping petal, its edge curling and dipping as though caught mid movement. It is a striking piece on its own, and it pairs naturally with the matching Flora pendant for a coordinated scheme.
The Elan Black Finish
This version is finished in a bright, polished nickel on the inside of the shade and on the knuckle joint of the arm, set against a deep matt Elan Black on the shade's exterior, the arm and the circular wall plate. The contrast gives the fitting a sleek, contemporary edge, and the nickel interior throws a soft, reflective glow back down from the bulb.
How It Works
- Single wall light on an adjustable knuckle joint arm, so the head can be angled up or down
- Wall mounted via a 105mm diameter, 20mm deep circular wall plate
- Takes one 6W max LED E14 bulb (bulb not supplied)
- Dimmable, if dimmable bulbs are used
- Lamp head measures 217mm in diameter and 63mm high, with a 224mm projection from the wall
Where It Works Best
Its adjustable arm makes it useful wherever you need to angle light exactly where it is wanted. Try a pair either side of a bed for reading light, along a hallway or staircase for a run of directional lighting, or in a living room, dining room or kitchen as an accent alongside the matching Flora pendant.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Flora wall light, with its hand finished nickel and black detailing, is made at that same Welsh workshop.

- Does this wall light come with a bulb? No. It takes a 6W max LED E14 bulb, which is not supplied.
- Can I dim this light? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable bulb and use it with a compatible dimmer switch.
- Can the shade be angled once it is fitted? Yes. The arm has a knuckle joint just below the wall plate, so the shade can be tilted up or down after installation.
- Is this light handmade? Yes. It is made to order at From The Anvil's workshop in Wales, so it is non returnable once ordered.
