A Flower Shaped Wall Light in Dingle Green

The Flora wall light carries the range's soft, nature inspired shade shape onto an adjustable wall arm, so a single flower shaped light can be angled exactly where it's needed. This version is dressed in Dingle, a rich, deep green that gives the fitting a bolder, more grounded look than the plainer metal finishes in the range.

The Dingle Finish

This wall light's hardware, the knuckle joints and wall fixing, is finished in a mix of chrome and nickel, polished to a smooth, reflective sheen rather than left with a brushed texture. Over that base, the arm, wall plate and outer shade are dressed in Dingle, a rich, deep green, while the inside of the shade is left in plain nickel so it throws light back down brightly instead of absorbing it.

How It Works

• Knuckle jointed arm swivels at the wall plate and again at the shade, so the light can be angled up, down or across the wall.
• Takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E14 fitting, bulb not included.
• Dimmable, as long as a dimmable bulb is fitted.
• Shade measures 217mm in diameter and 63mm high, with a 224mm projection from the wall. The wall rose measures 105mm in diameter and 20mm deep.
• Supplied fully wired with a matching wall plate and all fixings needed to mount it.

Where It Works Best

Its adjustable arm makes it useful either side of a bed in a bedroom, where it can be angled down for reading without a bedside lamp taking up surface space. It also suits a hallway wall, a living room reading corner, or beside a dining table where a fixed pendant isn't wanted. The deep Dingle green sits comfortably in a kitchen too, especially against pale or painted cabinetry.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and this Dingle green Flora wall light is finished there by hand, joint by joint.

Can the Flora wall light be angled up or down?
Yes. The knuckle joints at the wall plate and the shade both swivel, so the light can be pointed up, down or across the wall to suit where it's fitted.

What bulb does it take?
It takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E14 fitting. The bulb is not included.

Can I use it with a dimmer switch?
Yes, as long as a dimmable LED bulb is fitted. A standard, non dimmable bulb won't dim even on a compatible circuit.

Can I return it if I change my mind?
