A Wall Light With A Softly Curved Shade

The Flora wall light takes its name from the gentle curve of its shade. Instead of a straight edge, the rim moves in soft waves around the light source, catching the glow of the bulb and casting a warm reflection across the wall behind it. An adjustable knuckle joint lets you angle the shade up or down, so the light can be aimed exactly where you need it.

Smooth Nickel Fittings With A Pale Grey Birch Shade

This version pairs a pale grey Birch shade with fittings finished in smooth nickel. The wall mount, arm and knuckle joint are spun from solid brass and plated in nickel, giving a bright, polished contrast against the softer, powder finished grey of the shade. It is a calm, contemporary combination that suits a period hallway just as well as a newly decorated bedroom.

How It Works

• Single wall light on an adjustable knuckle joint arm, so the angle of the shade can be tilted to direct the light.
• Takes one E14 bulb, LED, 6W maximum. Bulb not included.
• Works with dimmable bulbs, so brightness can be adjusted if a dimmable bulb is fitted along with a compatible dimmer switch.
• Lamp measures 217mm in diameter with a 224mm projection from the wall. The wall mounted rose measures 105mm in diameter.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and this Flora wall light carries the same hand finished approach to metal that the brand was built on.
