A Wave Edged Shade With a Flash of Nickel
The Flora pendant takes its name from its shape, a wide, softly waved shade that ripples at the edge like a flower caught mid movement. Rather than throwing light in one direction, the flared form spreads it out across the room below, so it works as a genuine light source and not just a shape to look at.
Smooth Nickel, Finished in Elan Black
This version pairs a deep, matt Elan Black exterior with a smooth nickel lining underneath, so the shade reads as a flat black shape from above and reveals a bright, reflective nickel surface every time you look up into it or switch it on. The contrast between the two finishes, one matte and one mirrored, is what gives this Flora its sleek, contemporary look.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and this Flora shade's nickel and black finish is shaped and hand applied there rather than pressed by machine.

- Wipe the nickel interior and black exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can mark either finish.

What bulb does the Flora pendant need?
It takes one LED bulb only, with an E27 fitting, rated at 6W maximum. The bulb is not included.
Is this pendant dimmable?
Yes, as long as it's fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb. A standard, non dimmable bulb will not allow dimming even on a compatible dimmer switch.
How long is the cable?
It comes with 1m of black fabric cable as standard, along with a matching ceiling rose measuring 106mm in diameter.
Is there a matching wall light in this finish?
