A Wave Edged Flora Shade in Dusk
The Flora pendant takes its shape from soft, natural curves, one wide shade with a rippling, petal like rim rather than a straight edged cone. This version scales that shape into a single striking fitting, plated in smooth nickel and finished in Dusk, a deep, twilight toned blue grey that gives it a sleek, contemporary look with unexpected reflections.
Smooth Nickel Underneath the Dusk Finish
This Flora shade is spun from solid brass, then plated in a smooth, mirror polished nickel before Dusk is applied to the outer face. Turn it on and the polished nickel underside catches the bulb's light and throws it back with a warm, silvery shimmer, a cool contrast to the flat, matte blue grey on top. The wavy rim ripples gently rather than sitting as a hard straight edge.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Flora shade begins the same way, spun from solid brass at that same Welsh workshop before being plated in nickel and finished by hand in Dusk.
