The Flora pendant takes its shape from soft, wave edged curves, spun into a single sculptural shade that catches light differently depending on where you stand under it. In Bluff, a warm, taupe toned grey, the shade reads as a quiet, contemporary piece that still keeps the movement and texture of hand shaping.
The Bluff Finish
Bluff is a warm grey with a hint of taupe, applied over a shade that's spun from brass and plated in a smooth nickel finish on the inside. From below, the nickel interior throws back warm, unexpected reflections, while the grey exterior keeps the overall look calm rather than shiny.

Where It Works Best

From The Anvil
From The Anvil started in 1996, when former metalwork teacher Mark Underhill bought a small ironmongery supplier and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade pieces and has since grown into a family run manufacturer based in Llandrindod Wells, Powys, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods. The Flora pendant in Bluff is spun and finished by hand at that same Welsh workshop, so no two shades pick up the light in quite the same way.
