A Cluster of Flora Pendants
The Flora Cluster Pendant groups five to six curved, petal shaped shades at staggered heights, so the whole fitting reads more like a piece of art than a single light. Each shade is spun individually, which gives the group a slightly irregular, handmade look rather than a row of identical copies.
Smooth Nickel with a Flock Matt White Finish
This version has each brass shade plated in a smooth nickel finish, then dressed in a chalky Flock coating for a matt white surface with a soft, almost velvety texture. The finish softens the light coming through and gives the shades a quiet, tactile quality rather than a shiny one. Black cable and dark fittings run through the cluster, so the shades stay the focus.
How It Works
- Cluster of 5 to 6 pendant lights, each hung at a different height from a single ceiling rose
- Ceiling rose measures 105mm in diameter and 20mm deep
- Each shade measures 217mm across and 63mm high, with a 224mm projection
- Each light takes a 6W max LED E27 bulb, not supplied
- Dimmable, if dimmable bulbs are used with a compatible dimmer switch
Where It Works Best
The staggered drop lengths suit spaces with room to spread out and be seen from below, above a dining table, over a kitchen island or grouped down a stairwell. It also works well in a bedroom, living room or hallway wherever a single striking fitting can replace several smaller lights.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. That same workshop is where each shade in this cluster pendant is spun and finished by hand.
