The Brindley wall light takes a simple adjustable arm and turns it into a piece with real presence. A single shade tilts and turns on a knuckle joint, so you can angle the light exactly where you need it, whether that is a reading spot beside a bed or a wash of light along a hallway.
The Heath Green Finish
This version is finished in Heath, an earthy green powder coat, with the inner shade and fixings left in smooth nickel. The contrast gives the fitting a fresh, contemporary look next to the softer palette used on other Brindley finishes. The shade and wall rose are spun from solid brass, so the green sits over a heavy, durable base rather than a thin shell.

Where It Works Best
The directional shade makes this a practical choice for bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms. Fit a pair either side of a bed for reading light, or space them along a hallway or staircase wall to guide the way without relying on a central ceiling light. It pairs naturally with the matching Brindley pendant for a coordinated scheme.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Steel is still hand forged and brass and copper still hot forged using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, and this earthy green finish on the Brindley shows how that heritage carries through into a contemporary colour palette.

Does the shade move once it is fitted?
Yes. The Brindley has an adjustable knuckle joint at the wall plate and another at the shade, so it can be angled up, down or across after installation.
What bulb does it take?
It takes one E14 bulb rated up to 6W LED. No bulb is supplied with the fitting.
Can I dim this light?
Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb and use it with a compatible dimmer switch.
Is this light made to order?
Yes. Every Brindley wall light is handmade to order at From The Anvil's Welsh workshop, which means it cannot be returned once the order is placed.
