A Wall Light With Directional Reach
The Brindley wall light has a solid brass base and shade on an arm that swivels and tilts wherever you point it. In this smooth nickel finish, the whole fitting takes on a mirror bright, contemporary look, with a knuckle joint at the wall plate and another where the arm meets the shade so you can angle the light exactly where it is needed.
The Smooth Nickel Finish
Unlike the hammered texture used elsewhere in the Brindley range, this finish is smooth and highly polished, plated over solid brass. Light catches the surface in long, mirror like streaks rather than dappled marks, giving the fitting a cooler, more contemporary feel that suits chrome and stainless steel fittings nearby.

- Wall mounted light with one lamp holder, adjustable at both the wall bracket and the shade
- Takes one 6W max LED E14 bulb, bulb not supplied
- Dimmable if fitted with dimmable bulbs
- Shade measures 139mm in diameter and 124mm high, with a projection of 224mm from the wall
- Wall rose measures 105mm in diameter and 20mm deep
Where It Works Best
Its adjustable arm makes it a practical reading light either side of a bed, and it works just as well angled over a hallway or staircase, or in a dining room, living room or kitchen wherever a directional beam is useful. It pairs with the matching Brindley pendant for a coordinated scheme across a room.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley wall light carries that same brass work through to a polished, contemporary finish.

- Does this light come with a bulb? No. It takes one 6W max LED E14 bulb, which is not supplied.
- Can I dim this light? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb.
- Can I change the angle of the light? Yes. The arm has knuckle joints at the wall plate and at the shade, so you can tilt and swivel it to point where you need it.
- Does it match other Brindley fittings? Yes, it is designed to pair with the matching Brindley pendant for a coordinated scheme.
