The Brindley pendant brings an industrial dome shape into a soft, twilight colour that most metal pendants never touch. Spun from solid brass and finished in a deep, dusky blue grey called Dusk, this single pendant has real depth, especially once you notice the polished nickel lining catching the light inside the shade.

Smooth Nickel and the Dusk Finish

Dusk is a muted, blue grey shade that sits somewhere between navy and slate depending on the light in the room. The outside of the dome is coated in this matte, smoky colour, while the inside is lined in smooth, polished nickel, so when the bulb is lit you get a warm, reflective glow bouncing back down from a cool toned shade. The contrast between the two finishes is part of what sets this pendant apart from a plain painted shade.

• Comes with one Brindley pendant shade, a matching ceiling rose in Dusk, and 1.5m of black fabric cable.
• Fully wired and supplied with all the fixings needed to hang it.
• Takes an LED bulb rated up to 6W maximum, fitted with an E27 cap. Bulb not included.
• Dimmable, as long as you fit a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
• Shade measures 260mm across and 270mm tall, with a ceiling rose 120mm in diameter.

Where It Works Best

This single pendant suits kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms and hallways. Because the drop height can be adjusted at the point of fitting, it works well grouped in twos or threes above a kitchen island or breakfast bar, or hung on its own above a dining table or in a hallway where you want one strong, characterful light rather than a row of downlights.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later on, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and this Brindley pendant carries on that same hand finished approach in its Dusk colourway.
