The Brindley cluster pendant groups five to six domed shades on one ceiling rose, each one hung at a slightly different length so the group reads as a single layered fixture rather than a row of matching lights. This version brings a cooler, more contemporary edge to the shape, finished in Slate, a mid grey with subtle reflections across the metal.

Each dome is spun from chrome and nickel, then finished in a smooth Slate grey rather than a hammered or aged texture. The surface stays flat and even, catching light in soft, unexpected reflections instead of a high shine, so the cluster reads as understated rather than showy.

How It Works

• Five to six domed shades supplied on staggered drops from a single ceiling rose, with a minimum overall drop of 1500mm.
• Each shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm high, gathered under a 400mm diameter ceiling rose.
• Takes one LED bulb per shade, rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting. Bulbs are not included.
• Dimmable when fitted with compatible dimmable LED bulbs.
• Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.

Where It Works Best

The staggered drop suits spaces with height to play with, a stairwell or hallway, or the space above a dining table or kitchen island where the varying levels add movement. Its cool Slate tone also works well in a bedroom or living room that's already working with grey or silver tones rather than warm metal.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and this Slate finished Brindley cluster is shaped and finished there by hand, dome by dome.
