From The Anvil Smooth Nickel Brindley Cluster Pendant - Heath (Earthy Green)

This Brindley cluster pendant groups five to six dome shades at staggered heights, so instead of one central light you get a cascade that fills the space above a table or landing. It is spun from solid brass and gives a grouped ceiling light a sleek, contemporary look with plenty of reflected light bouncing off the metal.

Each shade is finished in Heath, an earthy green that sits on the outside of the dome, while the inside keeps a smooth, polished nickel effect that throws light back down and out. The black ceiling rose and black braided flex cables give the green a strong, grounded contrast rather than fighting it.

How It Works

• Cluster of five to six Brindley dome shades, each 260mm in diameter and 270mm high, all suspended from a single 400mm ceiling rose.
• Every shade hangs on its own flex, so you can stagger them and spread the cluster out from a minimum drop of 1500mm.
• Each shade takes one 6W maximum LED bulb with an E27 fitting, bulbs not included.
• Works with a dimmer switch as long as you fit dimmable LED bulbs.

Where It Works Best

The staggered cluster suits a dining table or kitchen island where you want light spread across a wider surface, and it works just as well dropped down a stairwell or hallway. It also makes a strong statement over a living room seating area or as the main light in a larger bedroom.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. This Brindley cluster carries that same hand finished approach through to every shade in the group, each one plated and painted by hand before it leaves Wales.
