The Brindley Cluster Pendant groups five to six domed shades onto a single ceiling rose, each hung at its own staggered height so the fitting spreads out rather than lining up in a row. In this Flock colourway, every shade is coated in a chalky matt white that reads soft and matte rather than glossy, a change of pace from the family's metallic and painted finishes.

The Flock Matt White Finish

Each shade is spun from solid brass and plated in a smooth nickel finish, then coated on the outside in Flock, a textured matt white that gives the surface a slightly powdery, chalky feel rather than a hard painted sheen. The rim and interior of each shade are left in polished nickel, so the mirror finish inside catches and throws the light while the outside stays flat and pale.

How It Works

• Each shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm in height, with a minimum drop of 1500mm from the ceiling rose to the lowest shade.
• The ceiling rose measures 400mm in diameter and 30mm deep.

• Dimmable, provided dimmable LED bulbs are fitted.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. The nickel plating on this Brindley cluster is applied by hand at that same workshop, before the chalky Flock coating goes on top.
