This particular Brindley comes in a pale grey shade colour called Birch, finished with a smooth nickel trim around the rim and lining the inside of each dome. The soft grey exterior against the bright nickel edge gives the cluster a clean, contemporary look rather than a traditional industrial one, and the nickel lining bounces extra light back down into the room.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later on, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and this Brindley cluster carries that same hand finished approach into a piece built for grouping over a table or stairwell.
