A Bold Cone Shade With a Copper Glow
The Hockley pendant has a bold, wide cone shade that narrows to a neat point at the top. It is a striking shape that works well as a single statement light, or grouped together for extra impact.
The Teasel Finish
This Hockley is spun from solid copper and finished in Teasel, a soft off white with a warm cream tone. The outside is smooth and matte, while the inside of the shade is left in bright, polished copper. Once the light is on, that copper interior catches the glow and casts a warm, coppery light down from under the shade.
How It Works
- Takes one E27 LED bulb, 6W maximum (bulb not included)
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings
- 1.5m of black fabric cable provided as standard
Where It Works Best
Its scale makes the Hockley a strong single fitting over a kitchen island, dining table or in an entrance hall. Hang two or three together for a cluster over a run of counter, or use it on its own in a living room where you want one confident, sculptural light.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. That same hot forged copper runs through the Hockley, made by hand in the same way the company has worked since the beginning.
