From The Anvil Smooth Copper Hockley Pendant - Heath (Earthy Green)

The Hockley pendant takes a simple cone shape and makes it bold. Its wide, sloped shade has real presence, whether hung low over a table or grouped together in multiples.

This version is spun from solid copper and finished in Heath, a deep, earthy green with a matte surface. Inside, the shade keeps its natural copper lining, polished to a warm glow that reflects light back down into the room once the bulb is on.

Where It Works Best

The Hockley's scale suits a kitchen island or a dining table, where its shade can hang low enough to throw light where it is needed. In a hallway or living room, it works just as well as a single striking fitting, and its shape means several can be clustered together for a more dramatic effect.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of that range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and the Hockley's spun copper shade carries on that hands on approach to metalwork.
