The Hockley pendant is a large, single cone shade with real presence. It is spun from solid copper and built around a bold, sculptural silhouette that suits kitchens, hallways and dining spaces where one striking fitting says more than several small ones.

The Elan Black Finish

This particular Hockley pendant pairs the natural warmth of solid copper with a deep, matte Elan Black exterior. The black finish gives the cone a graphic, almost architectural look from outside, while the inner surface stays in polished copper, so the light that spills out underneath keeps a warm, coppery cast rather than a cold white glow.

• Takes one E27 LED bulb, 6W maximum (bulb not included)

Where It Works Best

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and has grown into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting was added to the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop. The Hockley pendant featured here carries that heritage forward. Its copper cone is still made to order at the workshop in Llandrindod Wells, then finished in Elan Black before it leaves.

• What bulb does the Hockley pendant use? It takes one E27 LED bulb rated at 6W maximum. The bulb is not included and needs to be bought separately.
• Is this pendant dimmable? Yes. It will dim when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
• How much cable is supplied? The pendant comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable and a matching black ceiling rose, along with all the fixings needed to hang it.
• Can I return this pendant if I change my mind? No. Every Hockley pendant is handmade to order in Wales, so it cannot be returned once the order is placed.
