Smooth Copper in a Bluff Grey Finish

Bluff is a warm, taupe leaning grey, applied as a smooth matte finish over the copper shade. Look up into it, though, and the story changes completely. From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Hockley pendant carries that same hand finished character, with its copper body shaped and its Bluff grey exterior painted by hand rather than on a production line.

What bulb does the Hockley pendant take?
It takes a single E27 LED bulb rated at 6W maximum. The bulb is not included, so you will need to buy one separately, choosing a dimmable LED if you want to dim the light.

Can this pendant be dimmed?
Yes. The Hockley is dimmable as long as it is fitted with a dimmable LED bulb and used with a compatible dimmer switch.

How is the copper interior finished, and how do I keep it looking good?
The inside of the shade is left as polished solid copper rather than lacquered or painted, which is what gives the light its warm glow. Clean it only with a dry cloth to protect that finish.

What comes in the box?
