The Harborne pendant has a rounded, stepped silhouette that suits a modern kitchen just as well as a period home. This version brings that shape into a soft, pale green called Tump, paired with a polished copper interior that catches the light every time it is switched on.
The Tump Green Finish
Tump takes its name from the gentle green of a Welsh hillside, and it is applied over a solid copper shade for a smooth, matte exterior. Inside, the copper is left bare and polished, so the dome glows warm even before the bulb goes on. The stepped gallery at the neck and the ceiling rose are finished in the same Tump green, so the whole fitting reads as one piece.

Where It Works Best

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Steel is still hand forged there, and brass and copper are still hot forged using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, lighting included. The Harborne pendant is shaped from that same solid copper, in the same Welsh workshop, before it is finished in Tump green.
