The Harborne pendant brings a bold, dome shaped shade to any room, spun entirely from solid copper and dressed in a smooth finish that reads as industrial on the outside and warm on the inside. This Slate version pairs a matte, mid grey exterior with a bright polished copper lining, so the light it throws always carries that coppery glow.

The Slate Finish

Slate is a smooth, matte mid grey that coats the outside of the copper dome, with none of the shine of a metallic finish. Turn the shade over and the story changes completely, the inside is left in bright, polished copper, so the fitting glows warm even though its exterior reads as cool and contemporary. The dome keeps its classic rounded profile, stepping up to a small copper gallery at the top where the black fabric cable meets the fitting.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Harborne pendant carries that same hands on approach, its solid copper dome shaped and finished by the team that has been working the metal since the business began.
