A Statement Dome in Rich Green and Copper

The Harborne pendant takes its shape from classic factory lighting, a deep, rounded dome that throws light down and out. This one is finished in Dingle, a rich, dark green that reads almost black in low light and green in daylight, with a polished copper interior that catches the light every time the fitting is switched on.

The Dingle Finish

Underneath the colour, the shade is made from solid copper, so the dome has real weight and a crisp, rounded edge. The Dingle green is applied as a smooth, even finish across the outside of the shade, while the inside is left as bright, polished copper. That contrast between the muted exterior and the warm glow inside is what gives this pendant its character once a bulb is fitted.

Where It Works Best

Hang it low over a dining table or kitchen island, where the polished copper interior bounces warm light onto the surface below. It also works well as a single statement fitting in a living room or hallway, or grouped in twos or threes above a longer run of worktop.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. This Harborne pendant carries that same hand finished approach, with its copper shade painted in Dingle green by hand before it leaves the workshop.
