A Smooth, Polished Copper Finish

This version of the Harborne is spun from solid copper and polished to a bright, mirror like sheen rather than hammered by hand. The smooth surface reflects its surroundings, so the copper tone shifts gently depending on the room around it. Because copper naturally throws a warm cast, it works particularly well when paired with a cooler or brighter LED bulb to balance the light.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and the Harborne's spun copper dome carries that same hand finished approach into a pendant light.

• Does the Harborne pendant come with a bulb? No. It takes one E27 LED bulb, 6W maximum, which needs to be bought separately.

• How long is the cable? It comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable as standard, which can be shortened on installation if needed.
