A Contemporary Dome With a Warm Copper Glow
The Frankley pendant has a clean, curved dome shape that suits both modern and traditional kitchens. It is spun by hand from solid copper, so no two pieces are ever quite identical, and it works just as well hung alone over a table as it does grouped in a row.
The Teasel Off White and Copper Finish
This Frankley is finished on the outside with a smooth, matte Teasel paint, a soft off white cream that sits comfortably in most colour schemes as a gentle neutral. Turn it over and the inside of the dome is left as bare, polished copper, so the warm metal reflects the light back down and gives the pendant its distinctive glow. The pale exterior and bright copper interior give it a real two tone character.
How It Works
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the necessary fixings.
- Finished with a black fabric covered flex running from rose to shade.
- Takes an LED bulb only, 6W maximum, with an E27 fitting. The bulb is not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- No integrated LED, so the bulb can be replaced whenever needed.
Where It Works Best
At 412mm across, the Frankley makes a strong single statement over a dining table or kitchen island, and its warm glow suits bedrooms, living rooms and hallways just as well. Hang it solo as a focal point, or line up a few in a row over a run of kitchen island or a long dining table for a bolder look.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later on, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The copper dome on this Frankley pendant is hot forged there using that same hands on approach.
