A Sleek Silhouette With A Coppery Glow
The Frankley pendant has a broad, curved shade that narrows into a slim neck, a shape with a quiet, industrial confidence that works in both traditional and contemporary kitchens. This version is made from copper and bronze, finished on the outside in a warm grey called Bluff, with its natural copper lining left bare on the inside.
The Bluff Finish
Bluff sits somewhere between grey and taupe, a soft, warm neutral rather than a cold industrial tone. It coats the outside of the shade in a smooth, even matte finish, while the inside keeps its bright copper surface uncovered. Once a bulb is fitted, that copper lining bounces the light back down as a warm, golden glow, so the fitting feels inviting even though the outer colour reads calm and understated.
How It Works
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
- Comes with 1m of black fabric cable as standard.
- Takes one 6W maximum LED bulb with an E27 fitting. The bulb is not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Shade measures 412mm in diameter and 240mm high. The ceiling rose measures 106mm in diameter and 20mm deep.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The copper lining inside this Frankley pendant is a direct result of that hot forging process, worked by hand at the same benches where the company started out.
