A wall light with a flower shaped shade
The Flora wall light takes its shape from an open flower, with a shade that flares out and dips at the edges rather than sitting as a plain cone. Mounted on an arm with a knuckle joint, it can be angled up or down to change how the light falls in a room.
Smooth copper in a soft green called Tump
This version is painted in Tump, a pale, hillside toned green, on the outside of the shade and the wall rose. Inside, the shade is left in smooth copper, so the metal catches the light and warms the glow from the bulb. The knuckle joint and fittings are copper too, giving the piece a quiet contrast between the matte painted surface and the polished metal underneath.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Steel is still hand forged and brass and copper still hot forged using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. That same hand finishing is what gives this Flora shade its slightly individual character from one piece to the next, since no two are painted or polished in quite the same way.
