A Wall Light With Real Character
The Flora wall light takes its shape from the same natural curves that run through the whole Flora family, but the wall version has its own personality. The shade flares out like a flower in bloom, dipping and rising at the edge instead of running in a straight rim. Turned on, it throws a soft pool of light up the wall and down towards the floor, so it works as an accent as much as a light source.
Finished in Slate
This piece has a smooth copper base with a slate grey exterior on the shade. From the front, the shade reads as a cool, contemporary grey. Underneath, the copper is left in view, so when the bulb is lit it catches that warm metal tone and throws it back into the room. It sits well against darker paint colours, exposed brick or panelled walls, where the grey exterior blends in and the copper glow does the work.

Where It Works Best
The Flora wall light suits bedrooms, hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens. Mount a pair either side of a bed for reading light, either side of a mirror in a hallway, or flanking a fireplace where the flared shade adds a bit of shape to a plain wall. It also pairs with the matching Flora pendant if you want a coordinated scheme running through a room.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting came later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and the copper and slate finish on this wall light is a good example of that hand finishing still at work today.

- Does the Flora wall light take a dimmer switch? Yes, it is dimmable as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb.
- What bulb does it need? It takes one 6W max LED bulb with an E14 fitting. The bulb is not included.
- Can I angle the shade once it is fitted? Yes, the arm has an adjustable knuckle joint so you can tilt the shade up or down after it is mounted.
