A flora shape with a soft glow
The Flora wall light takes its shape from an open flower head, with a shade that curves and ripples at the edge rather than sitting in a straight line. Mounted on an adjustable arm, it throws a gentle, diffused light across a wall instead of one hard beam, making it a good choice anywhere you want soft, ambient lighting rather than a bright downlight.
Smooth copper in a rich Dingle green
This version is finished in a rich, deep green called Dingle on the outside of the shade, with the inside left in smooth, uncoated copper. The contrast means you see the green from across the room, but as soon as the light is switched on the warm copper glow of the interior comes through, giving the light a completely different character on and off. The arm and backplate carry the same copper detailing at the joints and socket, tying the whole fitting together.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware that still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Flora wall light is shaped and finished in copper at that same Welsh workshop, so the shade you see is worked by hand rather than pressed out by machine.
