An Adjustable Wall Light With a Soft, Sculpted Shade
The Flora wall light carries the same soft, nature inspired curves as the Flora pendant, arriving here on an adjustable arm rather than hanging from the ceiling. A double knuckle joint lets the shade swing out from the wall and tilt up or down, so the light can be angled exactly where it's needed.
The Bluff Finish, In Smooth Copper
This fitting is finished in Bluff, a warm, taupe toned grey that sits somewhere between grey and soft brown, with smooth copper left bare on the arm's knuckle joints and around the inside edge of the shade. The shade's rim ripples in a gentle wave rather than a hard straight line, so light spills out softly instead of in one hard beam.
How It Works
- The shade measures 217mm across and 63mm high, projecting 224mm from the wall on its adjustable arm.
- A double knuckle joint lets the arm swing and tilt so the light can be angled where it's needed.
- Takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E14 fitting, bulb not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Supplied fully wired with a matching 105mm diameter wall plate and all the fixings needed to install it.
Where It Works Best
Its adjustable arm makes the Flora wall light useful either side of a bed, where it can angle down for reading, or flanking a fireplace, hallway or dining room where a softer wash of light works better than a single downlight. It also suits a kitchen or living room and pairs naturally with the matching Flora pendant for a coordinated scheme.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil started in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Flora wall light's arm and shade are made at that same Welsh workshop, finished in Bluff with the copper knuckle joints left bare.
