The Flora wall light takes its shape from nature, its shade flaring open like a flower head just as it catches the light. This one pairs a smooth polished copper frame with a pale grey painted shade, and beneath it a warm, copper toned Birch lining that changes character depending on the angle you view it from.
The knuckle joints, arm fittings and lamp holder are finished in a smooth, polished copper, giving a warm contrast against the pale grey shade. Underneath, the Birch lining has a swirled, wood grain like pattern in a coppery tone, and the shade's edge is wavy rather than straight, softening the light that spills from it.
How It Works
- Single arm wall light with a swivelling copper knuckle joint, so you can angle the shade up or down once it is fitted.
- Wall mounted on a rose measuring 105mm in diameter.
- Takes one 6W maximum LED bulb with an E14 fitting (bulb not supplied).
- Dimmable when fitted with a dimmable LED bulb.
- Shade measures 217mm in diameter and 63mm in height, projecting 224mm from the wall.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and the Flora's hand finished copper joints and hand painted shade carry that same handmade approach.

What bulb does the Flora wall light take? It takes a single 6W maximum LED bulb with an E14 fitting. The bulb is not included, so you will need to buy one separately.
Can I use a dimmer switch with this light? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb. The fitting itself is compatible with a standard dimmer circuit.
Can the arm be repositioned once it is on the wall? Yes. The copper knuckle joint at the top of the arm swivels, so you can angle the shade up or down after installation.
Is this light handmade, and can I return it if I change my mind? Every Flora wall light is handmade to order at From The Anvil's workshop in Wales, which means it cannot be returned once your order has been placed.
