A Pendant With Movement In Its Shape
The Flora pendant swaps a hard edged shade for one with a soft, hand shaped curve that ripples gently around its rim. Rather than throwing a single hard beam downward, the wavy edge lets light spill out unevenly across the room, giving a warm, relaxed glow rather than a flat pool of light.
Smooth Copper In A Soft Tump Green
This version is finished in Tump, a pale, muted green with a hillside tone, painted across the outside of the shade. Turn it over and the inside is lined in smooth copper, left bright and reflective so it bounces the bulb's glow back down and out through the rippled edge. The contrast between the matte green exterior and the warm copper interior is the whole character of this piece.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering.
The copper shade on this pendant is shaped using that same hot forging process, at the same Welsh workshop the family still works from today.
