The Flora pendant takes its shape from nature, a wide, wavy shade that catches the light like a flower caught in the wind. This Soot version pairs a dark grey exterior with a bright copper interior, so the fitting reads as a quiet charcoal silhouette from above and a warm glow of metal from below.
The Soot Finish
The outside of the shade is finished in a deep, matte soot grey, giving it a settled, understated look that sits well against painted walls or exposed brick. Turn your eye to the underside and the material changes completely, a smooth, hand finished copper that catches and throws light back into the room. The shade itself is made from a mix of copper and bronze, worked into its curved, petal edged form.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Flora pendant's hand finished copper interior carries that same forging tradition through into a piece made for lighting a room.
