A Single Flower Shaped Shade in Slate
The Flora pendant takes the range's soft, nature inspired curves and finishes them in Slate, a cool mid grey tone. Its rounded, petal edged shade disperses light gently outward rather than in one hard beam, so it reads as a soft ceiling glow rather than a spotlight.
The Slate Finish
Slate is applied over the shade's copper and bronze construction, giving it a muted, neutral grey on the outside while the inner curve stays in bright, polished copper. That contrast means the fitting looks understated from above and warmly reflective from below, especially once a bulb is lit inside it.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. It still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, and lighting became part of the range later, made at that same Welsh workshop. The copper inside the Flora pendant's Slate shade comes from that same hot forging process.

Does the Flora pendant come with a bulb?
No, bulbs are sold separately. It takes one LED bulb with an E27 base, rated at 6W maximum.
Is the Slate finish a warm or cool grey?
Slate is a cool, mid grey tone applied over the copper and bronze shade, so it reads as neutral grey on the outside rather than a warm metallic colour.
Can this pendant be dimmed?
Yes, as long as it's fitted with a dimmable LED bulb. A standard, non dimmable bulb will not allow it to be dimmed.
Why is this pendant non returnable?
Each one is made to order at From The Anvil's Welsh workshop rather than held as ready made stock, so orders can't be returned once placed.
