The Flora pendant is one of From The Anvil's more sculptural shapes, with a wide, gently waved shade that catches the light differently from every angle. This version pairs a smooth copper body with a deep black exterior, so the shade looks almost sculptural when the light is off and glows warm copper underneath once it's switched on.
Smooth Copper, Finished In Elan Black
The shade is hand shaped from smooth copper sheet, then finished on the outside in a deep, matte Elan Black. The inside is left in polished copper, so the black exterior gives way to a warm coppery glow whenever the pendant is lit. The wave edged rim is a signature of the Flora shape and is echoed in the smaller ceiling rose above it.

- Takes one 6W maximum LED bulb with an E27 fitting (bulb not included).

Where It Works Best
Its scale and warm glow make this pendant a natural fit above a kitchen island or dining table, where the wide shade spreads a soft, even light across the surface below. It also works well as a single statement piece in a living room, hallway or bedroom, particularly in darker colour schemes where the black exterior can really stand out.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Flora pendant's hand shaped copper shade and hand applied Elan Black finish are a direct result of that same small batch, hands on process.
