A wave edged shade with a copper glow
The Flora pendant is shaped by hand into a soft, wave edged curve, taking its cue from the fall of a flower petal. Every dip in the rim is slightly different, so no two shades sit quite the same way. Switch it on and the shade throws a wide pool of light across a table below, with a warm copper glow lining the underside.
Finished in Dingle, a rich green
This Flora pendant is finished in Dingle, a deep, rich green that looks almost black in low light and warms up under direct light. The outside of the shade is dark and matte, while the inside keeps its natural smooth copper, left bright and reflective. That contrast between the two finishes is what sends warm light down and out from under the shade.

- Fitted with 1m of black fabric cable as standard.
- Takes a single E27 LED bulb, 6W maximum (bulb not included).
- Dimmable, as long as you fit a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
Where It Works Best
The wide spread of the shade suits a kitchen island or a dining table, where the light needs to reach across a surface rather than down onto a single spot. It also works well as a single striking pendant in a hallway, living room or bedroom, somewhere the copper lining can catch the eye from below.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and this Flora shade's rich green and copper finish is a good example of that hand forged approach put to a bold colour.
