A Pendant Shaped Like Its Name
The Flora pendant takes its cue from an open flower head, with a wide, flared shade that ripples gently at the edge instead of running in a straight line. Hung from a single flex, it reads as a soft, sculptural shape rather than a hard edged fitting, and spreads light wide across a table or worktop below.
Smooth Copper, Bluff Grey
This version pairs a smooth copper interior with a painted exterior in Bluff, a warm, taupe leaning grey. The copper lining catches and reflects the bulb's glow, so the underside of the shade glows warm even though the outer face reads as a cool, muted grey. The dark bronze gallery and flex tidy up the top of the fitting without competing with either finish.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop. The copper lining on this Flora pendant carries on that same tradition, still hot forged by hand in Wales today.
