The Flora Cluster Pendant gathers five to six slender, flower shaped shades at staggered heights from a single round ceiling rose, so the light falls in a soft cascade rather than one hard beam. Each shade is hand shaped, which is why no two catch the light in quite the same way.
This version is finished in smooth copper, polished to a warm, mirrored sheen rather than the pitted texture of a hammered surface. Every shade sits on a dark bronze lamp holder, and the whole cluster hangs on black fabric covered flex from a round ceiling rose fitted with a screw down cover plate.
How It Works
- Groups five to six hand shaped copper shades in one fitting, each hung on its own length of black flex from a single round ceiling rose.
- Made from solid copper. Each shade measures 217mm in diameter with a 224mm projection from ceiling to shade.
- Ceiling rose measures 105mm in diameter.
- Takes a 6W maximum LED bulb with an E27 fitting. Bulb not included.
- Works with a dimmer switch when dimmable LED bulbs are fitted.
Where It Works Best
The staggered drop suits a dining table or kitchen island, where the different heights spread light across the whole surface rather than pooling it in one spot. It also works well in a hallway as a statement piece, or over a bed in a bedroom, and suits living rooms looking for a softer alternative to a single central light.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, with lighting produced at the same Welsh workshop. Every shade in this cluster carries that same hand forged copper heritage, shaped rather than cast, so each one is subtly individual.
