A Distinctive Wall Light in Upstream Blue
The Brindley wall light has real character. Its two piece arm swivels at both the wall plate and the shade, so you can angle the light exactly where you need it, whether that is over a chair for reading or across a hallway wall.
This particular Brindley is made from solid copper and finished by hand in a rich Upstream blue on the shade, arm and wall plate. Look inside the shade and the raw copper still shows through, a warm reflective lining that throws light back out under the rim. The knuckle joints at the shade and the wall plate stay in bright natural copper, giving the blue finish a warm metallic contrast at both pivot points.

Where It Works Best
Its adjustable arm makes this Brindley a flexible choice for a bedroom, where it can sit either side of the bed for reading light, or for a hallway, dining room, living room or kitchen where you want a directional accent rather than flat overhead light. Fit a pair either side of a doorway, mirror or headboard for a matching, symmetrical look.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop.
This Brindley wall light carries that same hand forged copper base and hand finished colour work, with every Upstream blue shade dressed and fitted by hand before it leaves Wales.
